3D Visions has provided field survey services on many large projects, analyzing various aspects of the built environment, from handicapped accessibility to the physical and economic conditions of blight. With a dozen facility and data collection activities complete on more than 50,000 properties in eight cities, we have demonstrated to our clients that our distinctive technology allows savings of up to 75% over paper-based methods of collecting and compiling field data. We get to know the communities we are working in and combine other sources of data with our field data to complete customized spatial analyses based on our clients’ needs.

Drawing upon Ms. Gillespie’s experience as a public school teacher and city planner, the 3D Visions team facilitates dialogue with local residents. We develop creative campaigns to notify residents about studies and proposed projects and work hard to provide equitable opportunities for community input. 

We plan and conduct interactive public workshops, providing a portable sound system, easels, computers, an LCD projector, recorders, presentation materials, handouts, a computerized registration system, and even refreshments. During the meeting, our team is busy logging participation with cameras and notes, listening to public feedback or leading small group discussions. Our outreach services are well complimented by our proficiency in computer graphics, mapping (GIS), 3D and 2D animation, multimedia development, and web publishing.
